Adam Hansen is a terrific qajaq and fishing guide from Aasiaat Greenland. Adam was the organizer of the Greenland Qajaq Championship in 2017 and has appeared at several Qajajq USA events as a Guest Mentor.

Cheri is a world renowned teacher of Greenlandic kayaking skills. She is very skilled at breaking down a variety of rolls in a systematic way that makes it easy to learn. She spends a fair amount of time on the ground giving the roller clear instructions on how their body interacts with the kayak and what roller needs to do with their paddle and body to complete a roll. She is a co-author, with Turner Wilson, of “This is the Roll” and “This is the Roll 2” videos, produced by Justine Curgenven. She has competed in the Greenland National Championships and has taught at many symposiums worldwide.

Greenland style sea kayaking expert Dubside will share his expertise on Greenland style sea kayaking, kayak rolling, urban paddling in Philadelphia, the Greenland National Kayaking Championships, and Greenlandic language, culture, and music.

Greg Stamer is the founder and past-president of Qajaq USA. Greg has over twenty five years of experience using Greenland-style paddles and equipment. He credits John Heath and Greenland Champion Maligiaq Padilla as his primary mentors.
In 2000, when the Greenland Championships were offered to foreign kayakers for the first time, I jumped at the chance." Greg was invited in 2000 to attend a week-long Qaannat Kattuffiat training camp in Greenland to prepare for competition and has participated in two Greenland National Kayaking Championships, in 2000 and in 2002, winning two gold and two bronze medals. In both events Greg earned the most points in the individual rolling event for his age group and was the overall champion for his age group in 2000.
He is an annual participant in the grueling Evergreen Challenge which is a testament to the efficiency of his forward stroke

Pete is an ACA Level Four coastal kayak instructor and guide who is well-known for coaching mid-west paddlers on rolling techniques. Pete is also renowned for his ability to foam out kayaks to make them fit the paddler, an essential technique for people learning to roll. Pete is also as comfortable teaching rolling as he is teaching strokes and maneuvers, he runs several classes dedicated to traditional strokes, paying particular attention to paddle extension.

Pete Hohmann is an ACA kayak instructor and British Canoeing coach. He has merged his experience with FreeStyle canoeing with his passion for Greenland kayaking. He is also a rolling instructor and enjoys Greenland rolling in his Rebel Illaga kayak. Pete lives in Cape Coral, Florida, and is active in building the Greenland kayaking community in Southwest Florida. He is the founder and organizer of Calusa Sea Kayaker Meetup Group. He taught most of the paddlesports programs for Prince William County Parks and Recreation in Northern Virginia for 7 years, until he moved to Florida in 2019. Ask Pete about some of hid challenging kayaking trips like the length of the Chesapeake Bay or the tidal whitewater in the Bay of Fundy

Ed held an L4 ACA Open Water Instructor Certification and an ACA Traditional Skills Endorsement. Simply stated, he is a passionate Greenland kayaking devotee. Before moving to Florida, he was the President of the Jersey Shore Sea Kayak Association, a principal kayak instructor for the Jersey Paddler, and instructor of rolling at the inaugural Garden State Sea Kayak Symposium. He has mentored at other Greenlandic events, including the Delmarva Paddlers Retreat, Hudson River Greenland Festival and TIPS. When he's not teaching, he is usually upside down in his kayak watching Manatees while he rolls.

Chris Raab started paddling in grade school and over the years progressed through solo and tandem white water canoeing on into canoe expeditions across the United States and Canada. In 1992 he began sea kayaking and quickly settled into the sea and surf as his primary interest. Chris is an ACA open water instructor trainer and BCU 4 paddler.
In 2000 he picked up a Greenland paddle and soon became a traditional Greenland skills instructor trainer and founded Tuktu Paddles. Chris has been a instructor and guide with Outdoor Discovery Schools of Maine, has appeared at symposiums around the country and, worked with many area clubs and organization to promote paddle sports.
Cris has been making Greenland paddles for a long time as owner of Tuktu paddles.
